I could not find my old thread anymore, probably moved to the archive. I have not worked on my car in a while, but last month i finally bought a new amp for my DTS/ 5.1 install and i can now begin on the Audio system. I got a 9 Channel Phoenix Gold Zen 9 which i will install in my Avensis Turbo 4x4. The Avensis is swapped to 2.0 16 Turbo, and swapped from 2wd to 4wd. It has a MoTeC M400 stand alone ECU. Head Unit: Kenwood KVT-920 DVD with DSP module Speakers: Boston Z6 front and rear, Pro50SE as center Speaker wires: Audison Sonus Reference Battery: Optima Yellow Top Amps: Phoenix Gold Zen 9, Boston GT275 Sub: Boston SPG-555 (but this one maybe changes to something else) Covering the rear deck to make a smooth shape with epoxy. The 3rd brake light is now in the rear spoiler and since i can have only one 3rd brake light i removed the original one from the rear deck. The hole is now covered by the fleece. Reinforced with fibre glass. Opened up the rear deck to fit the Z6's. Mock up speaker frame in MDF. Final one will be in 10 mm Alloy. The Rear door speaker cover that will be removed and used on the rear deck for an OEM look. Made a template to align the cover with the headrest. First cover is installed. The rear deck will finaly be upholstered with alcantara. 10 mm alloy speaker frame that will adapt the Z6 in the rear deck. The Sonus Reference speaker wire.
