Twostrokeking
Do a blow thru! What if I made some brackets and raised the back seat up a few inches?? Haha I have to get loud man.. :/ Lol nah man! Way to much money and I use the bed for my dirt bike u don't think it's possible to be super loud without taking the back seat out?? Um no unless you invent invisible no space taking up 18s .your not gonna get loud under the seat. If that's the only option you have and don't want to do any cutting. skyhighcaraudio
This is the sickest truck build ever. Amazing job man! Here is my truck. I still have My back seat in, I kind of want to take it out but im in 10th grade so i can only drive my truck with my parents. When i can take it to school next year i will prob have friends with me and stuff so ill probably need my back seat. Can i be heard from blocks away with my back seat still in??? haha can people hear you coming? NICE BUILD MAN!! Thank you for the compliments. Before this set up i had a single dc level 5 12 in a center console box that went from the floor onto the bench part of the seat. the sub was down firing and the port faced upwards. it was loud as hell for a single 12. it would float papers in the window, flex my doors and disturb the peace. i love it. I had it running on a dc 3.5k. the box was 1.6 after displacements and the amp was at .5 ohm. So it was seeing some serious power. If you want to get loud with a rear seat (other than a blow through) this would be my suggestion. i am sure it would be way loud with an XL on a 2k or 3.5 you dont have to spend the money for the lvl 5, i love my xls now and wouldnt go back to 5s personally. itll save you some serious money going that route lol If you need anything else feel free to ask i dont mind helping at all Contact us for the best quality cables and accessories with the fastest shipping in the industry EMAIL: [email protected]<script data-cfhash='f9e31' type="text/javascript"> /* */</script> LIKE US ON FB: https://www.facebook.com/SkyHighCarAudio ADD ME ON FB: https://www.facebook.com/jon.rabe.1 MONSTER SKY HIGH/DC GMC: http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/127057-sky-high-monster-gmc-walk-through-12-lvl-5-15s-6-9ks-trim-panels-and-wiring-p-90/

How's that sound?? Will I be loud enough?? skyhighcaraudio
lol sound quality and disturbing the peace doesnt come cheap lol its hard to mix them because ported boxes are good in SQ and sealed boxes dont get as loud you know? I would say tune your box low low so itll play music well. IDK if you have every heard of zapco but dc makes their subs and they are an SQ company so that should tell you the how they play music. I would make brackets out of metal to lift it and then extend your bolts so its still safe and everything. then ya put the box under there. So you think 2 ported 12's at 1000 watts would be loud?? Thanks man. skyhighcaraudio
loud is relative. it depends on what you have heard if itll be loud or not. You can get loud with that set up but you could put it in and be disappointed. it all depends on the box and it wont be right the first time, it may be close but it will take some tweaking and shit to get it perfect. you can easily get 3 more db out of just rebuilding your box. i just spent a few hours playing with mine (didnt rebuild) and got 1.5 db at 36 hz...so thats huge you just have to be diligent about it and have the patience to keep trying and trying until its perfect are you talking 1000 to each or 1000 total. What kind of electrical are you running or planning on running in there? What kind of electrical are you running or planning on running in there? I have 0 gauge wire from my battery to a distribution block then 4 gauge to both of my amps. Stock alt. And a regular battery. Eventually I want to upgrade alt and battery. This setup will be based off of my uncles old one.. He had a truck like mine but 1 year newer. It had 2 twelves under the backseat. Loudest setup I ever heard. His were sealed tho. LOUD. I have a 10 inch sub in a small custom sealed box under my back seat right now. It gets loud but not loud enough the box is way to small (it came with the truck). I wanted to build a potted box for it and make it louder but the. I figured why waste that money on wood and supplies when I could put that money towards my new amps and subs. Right? Or am I dumb for wanting to upgrade?? Either you love the stuff or you dont you know? i would suggest the seat lift like we had talked about then do some 12s in a correctly sized ported box under there itll be a nice system for still being able to sit 5 or 6. But box is everything without the right box you will be disappointed. if you need help with design or whatever ill help you out. im not the best at it man but ive built a ton of boxes nd they work out well Contact us for the best quality cables and accessories with the fastest shipping in the industry EMAIL: [email protected]<script data-cfhash='f9e31' type="text/javascript"> /* */</script> LIKE US ON FB: https://www.facebook.com/SkyHighCarAudio ADD ME ON FB: https://www.facebook.com/jon.rabe.1 MONSTER SKY HIGH/DC GMC: http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/127057-sky-high-monster-gmc-walk-through-12-lvl-5-15s-6-9ks-trim-panels-and-wiring-p-90/
