kevinb721 Posted October 26, 2007 Report Share Posted October 26, 2007 i say intel...ive always had intel except for my first comp which the chip (2400+ i believe) burned out with no overclocking. amd chips run a bit warm imo. i still have an intel 3.0 prescott chip oc'd to around 3.4 and it has been running stable for 3 years. like everyone says, get what u can afford. amd and intel are both great chips. Lice_01 Posted November 1, 2007 Report Share Posted November 1, 2007 It pretty much depends on how much you are planning on spending, once you figure that out it gets easier to find the right CPU for you.
