For a budget headphone, you really can't beat the Skullcandy ones. I think they're about $20 at Wally's and sound damn good with my iPhone.

The Klipsh headphones have really good sound quality all the way around but I've found that they don't like to stay inside my ear. They have kind of a goofy design but if you don't mind adjusting them several times an hour then you'll be ok.

Another pair I found to have really good bass is at your local Costco warehouse. They're about $100 or so and I think they're made by V-moda or something like that. I use those on my Android device with two separate eq's to contour the sound to my liking. If I were to compare them to a car system, I'd say they sound close to a 135 db system and they go LOW. Plus, they tend to stay inside my ear even when I workout.

Just my $0.02
