Ali's 1984 Mercedes 300D - - - 2000w Kicker Solobaric L7 15'' setup

Recommended Posts

Hi there guys; i'm a new member here. Name's Ali. I've been a lurker for a while, figured it would make sense to finally sign up. I regularly used to check out Decaf (and other) mixes. I have a lot of them in my car and use them all for daily viewing pleasure. Also a fan of Steve Meade, impressed by many other peoples' setups here.

I wanted to share some pics of my ride. It's a 1984 300D Mercedes (w123 chassis) with 5 speed gearbox; roughly 300,000 km on odometer

put in Alpine Type-S mid/high, Mac audio tweeter, Kicker S15L7 Solobaric 15'' sub (1000 watts RMS, 2000 watts peak) system with Boss 3 farad capacitor (speakers powered by Alpine MRPF-300 watt amplifier/subwoofer powered by Hifonics Brutus 2000w Class-D mono amp, 4 gauge wiring and a sh*t load of dynamat

I've already gotten noise complaints from neighbours; they said they heard me coming from far away and it vibrated their windows

still got work to do; but thought i'd share anyways
