FSU Racing Posted January 7, 2012 Report Posted January 7, 2012 my amp just burnt out a sub because of clipping so i was wondering which settings i should turn all the way down and never touch again and which ones can go up a lil without distortion, i have sub volume on my head unit, and my amp has, input level, bass boost, input sensitivity (100mv-2v or 2v-8v)and a remote sub level control. the head unit gives 2v so idk which sensitivity to use Quote
MIKE-2U Posted January 7, 2012 Report Posted January 7, 2012 buy a dd-1. subsonic filter should be 5 hz lower than box tuned to. LP filter your prefrence. bass boost i would level, and gain with o' scope or dd-1. phase all the way off UNLESS subs are inverted.
