Even with the stock Alt? yup. they are usually just another strain on your electrical system unless you can slam music and have 0 voltage drop. real capacitors cost big monies too, not some like $60 pringles can from walmart. Goblenator Posted February 25, 2012 Author Report Share Posted February 25, 2012 Buyer beware of the Sony DSX-S210X head unit. Mine quit reading ipods so i sent it back for a new one. Got the new one in and it wouldn't even turn on. I'm not trying to dis on it but it seems to have problems. So i sent it back and upgraded to the Kenwood KIV-701 and will have pics when it arrives.
