Jessica
Ok, first i hate making a thread like this because they tend to be a clusterfk of misinformation and conjecture. So, this morning on my way to work my subs were not playing as loud as they should have given the position on my pac-lc1. It was weird because i tried a song with a stronger bass line, and the more i turned up the lc-1, the more they would kind of surge louder, then quieter. Equipment is in my signature. Anyway, on the way home it was better but still not quite right, i got my DMM, and the speakers, (d4 ohm X2), read 1.1 ohm (meter reads .2ohms shorted) So everything looked good there, all other connections looked good so i tried again and it played fine. Also, during all this, even full tilt on a heavy bass song i was not getting voltage drop. I am wondering since the car sat in the cold and the outside was frosted pretty bad maybe i had a bit of moisture inside the pac-lc1. Does that even sound reasonable? I mean, i didn't get a protection light. i have never had the sub smelly, or even warm really and the amp has never been warm. It had me worried for a minute, i don't know what caused it. Rest in peace, walled 87 accord build log 03' Corolla build with AA Mayhem inside. My super random youtube channel and terrible camera work.
