You got passive and active EQs, EQs that have a processor in them to enhance bass and lots of no name models like by BOSS and such. Basically Id shop for another EQ if I were you. It sounds like your model is to add an input to your HU, not accept output from your HU to send it to your speakers. Since you got it, Id hook the front L and R out of the HU to the EQ, then the EQ outs to your 4 or 5 channel amp to the speakers. In other worlds from what Ive been reading you got the passive EQ that requires amplification. No not the power ground and all that i can do that. I mean the rcas. I have 3 ouput on my headunit and 1 on my equalizer.
