Yates Posted June 20, 2013 Author Report Share Posted June 20, 2013 Had a bit of a temp setup for a while some of you will hate but painted my window wipers chrome red and my grill black hard to see the wipers their though first time soldering a 0 gauge ring terminal with the pencil torch not to bad I thought but I the crimped and re soldered for a extra strong connection started sanding my bumper gonna paint it blue like the rest of the car started getting the electrical sorted Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Yates Posted June 20, 2013 Author Report Share Posted June 20, 2013 oh by the way I want to become an auto electrician and I did a weeks work as like a taster at what I am doing going again because I loved it but I got to help the guy work on his classic Ford Falcon anyway back to the grandwagon I painted the rims and customized the caps so the didn't cover the nuts because I couldn't afford new rims but they turned out well sorry for the blurry photos look at the wire hanging out the door Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Yates Posted June 20, 2013 Author Report Share Posted June 20, 2013 Then I started Fibreglassing it was my first time and a big challenge I was taking up 10kg of resin over 8 meters cloth bumper and doors to do couldn't stop now bumper cut away plywood is getting cut out later don't worry and that was first coat but more close i was keeping the spot lights cause its like a subaru thing and I like it and started the doors car is really dusty but front shot a bit exited and put the speakers in and I will be upgrading later I won't keep the sony's lol aand the fusions do have covers also Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Yates Posted June 20, 2013 Author Report Share Posted June 20, 2013 Dynamated (my new word) a bit) got it as a present I was so happy started the tweeters where they are gonna be stared a Ipad rack in the end I didn't keep it but posted for the process my brother gave me the ipad in a swap for a pioneer 1000w sub which I was gonna sell any way and was only worth like $150 but I gave him a amp and a box (pre fab I offered my custom one but didn't fit in the silvia) and wiring I felt good for giving more than he asked for oh and I made a wooden Ipad pity it woodent go lol I waited so long to get these terminals Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Yates Posted June 20, 2013 Author Report Share Posted June 20, 2013 got more done on the front bumper heres a little bit of an idea on what its gonna look like but its gonna have a grill and obviously paint blue (like the rest of the car) heres where the shape wasn't coming out so even so i pretty much had to start again but any way I carpeted my doors I like how its got the rivits in it makes it look tuff and makes it look like its got a reason for the separate parts it was so hard to work with this carpet Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
