Justin248
After having built my first speakers a little over a year ago, I finally decided to finish them and do it properly this time. Along with rebuilding my bookshelf speakers I am making my final box for the sub since I had it in a temporary box. Drivers used: GRS 6PF-8 for the woofer, Goldwood Gt-1005 for the tweeter, and a factory buyout 8 inch sub. Powering everything I have an Onkyo tx-nr509, and a dayton audio 70 watt plate amplifier. Justin248
3 sheets of 3/4 mdf, 10 feet of pine shoe board (you will understand when I start building), glue, primer, paint, clear coat, and polyfill.
Justin248
This is what they looked like. Not bad for my first time and not using a router.
Justin248
Finally got around to building. I chose to do a 4th order bandpass with roughly .5 cubes in the rear and .25 in the front. The Dayton Audio 70 watt plate amplifier fits snug in its new home. This is the little 8" sub I picked up for 19 off a parts-express factory buyout.
