Had i just ponied up the coin on some hertz hsk speakers some time back i would have saved money over the period of time buying and replacing speakers of lesser quality unable to keep up with what i have. Hind sight is always clearer after the fact so what we're trying to do is help you with things we have learned ourselves the hard way over the years. for sure and I can't hate that at all... I see what what you guys are saying for sure... that's why I'm not running out and buying a bunch of boss and pyle stuff. I wouldnt have it. this amp I currently have is definitely not the best but for what it is I'm happy with it. but the highs I'm looking at are still polks... I've heard their products before and they sre pretty damn clean for what I'm trying to do. should be 300 front and back total. I'm liking the mb quartz amp for pushing them... and a planet audio crossover for the separation. that dual smp is now sitting on top of my bass guitar amp in my room. lol. not being used. may sell it may just keep it as an expensive reminder. Hey man I did something very similar to an amp back in the day Now when I look back on it I should have just bought a good amp instead of modifying shit. You have the right attitude but I would really like to see you learn more before you do stuff. Don't cut corners. Take it from someone who started out very similar to you. I wish I would have done things properly to begin with for sure... But definitely if I can find better wattage or better performance for my money I'll go for that.
