DC M3 8" measurments?

Recommended Posts

Trying to squeeze 3 of your M3 8's under the back seat of my F150 supercrew and need a few things.

I need the overall diameter of the motor and how thick/deep the motor itself is.

Hoping and praying they will fit. Also what amp would you recommend me running these with? It's going in a ported box if that makes a difference.

Thanks for the help.

I would put a dc 2.0k on them. Let me measure my m3's real quick.

2003 Tahoe

dc 7.5k

dc level 5 15's (3)

MMats 341's

xs power batts

lots of sky high cable

dual alts(came off the sky-high gmc and don't know who made them)

ipad in center console

vu-din in center console

all being ripped out and being sold

If you are running 2 of them I would run a dc 1.2k on them. I have had 1 of them on a 1000 watts but that was just for spl testing in a 4th order box which typically depending on how its tuned subs will take more power in a freq range off a bandbass. I had 2 in a ported box under my seat and they hammered most people thought I was running multiple 12s. I had 2 off 1.2k and they did great.
