addh95 Posted February 17, 2014 Report Share Posted February 17, 2014 Welcome to my build log! my name is Andrew i have a 2012 Hyundai accent hatchback daily ride. i started off with a 1200 watt sony xplod and a 1200 watt sony xplod 12in in a small sealed box. i guess it was decent for me to see if this is something i want to do and it was i was loving the bass! so i wanted to upgrade and thanks to one of my friends i then got 2 12in pb 250rms 500 peak in a powerbass ported pro box still with my same amp pushing them. and it all started. i looked into other cool car mods and i found leds lol. long story short i now have: xkglow underglow and in car with 129 patterns and 7 different colors with remote and box. 1 1200watt sony xplod 2 powerbass 12in 250rms double 12in ported pro box tuned at 35 hz 1 set of blue leds on a frame 1 set of blue leds for hatchback lighting mb wheels turbo 15in v rating tires (just got the wheels and tires a couple days ago!) here are some pics of the ride so far... (lights are green, yellow, blue, teal, red, white and purple) (yes i know they are upside down) today i went over to my friends house and we tried out a different box inverted the subs and put in the 2 4in aero ports. box was tuned pretty low 25 hz i think. fresh new tires and wheels! that is my car doing some flexing! new build coming soon! first piece of the puzzle! rest will come in time! addh95 Posted February 22, 2014 Author Report Share Posted February 22, 2014 ok so we have done a little more nothing big yet... but first here is another flex video after the radio was put in the 600rms sony xplod amp im runnin for now.... tuning the radio lots of different settings to experiment with hooking of the amp to the blue led switch. I can't wait for the upgrades to arrive. I want to show you how to use Audacity too, the songs were sooooo distorted, it bothers me. Knowledge is the greatest tool in any garage. addh95 Posted March 2, 2014 Author Report Share Posted March 2, 2014 so im working on my new build ive gotten some of the parts in! shca 2/0 gauge blue wire... more like freaking cable this stuff is heavy duty and i have 50 feet of it its huge! here is the heat shrink for the 1/0 gauge terminals shca branded! now that is a terminal! 1/0 gauge ofc anl 250 amp fuse! also in a shca blue caseing. these things are huge the termianls and heat shrink. also supporing JP with my new down4sound sitcker! more updates as we start work and get more parts in! Stay tuned, this will pick up when he gets the funds together. I'm starting to think we should really consider an alt upgrade soon tho, the stock alt is for a tiny 1.6L four-banger, not a stomping 2.4k system. Knowledge is the greatest tool in any garage.
