Help, zv3 12s or single zv4 18

I'm starting my build with sundown and an saz3500, I like the lows more than the bass that will hurt my ears. Would I be better off with the 18? The box for the zv4 is 5.3 cubes tuned to 32. The only downside is I already have one zv3 12
