akaak Posted January 27, 2015 Author Report Share Posted January 27, 2015 I first wanted to do it when I saw a video of price's tahoe and I thought the doors looked sick and then I started to appreciate the vocals in music more. That's why I want to do it. I want to do it right though so I came here. I've been doing research on these forums for a couple years now and I know a shit ton about bass but nothing about mids and highs. Regardless if it's something you personally like, it doesn't really matter. I want to keep it simple. A 2 way set up sounds nice. I'm not going to gf etc the neo speakers if they're really not that much better. As long as I set the filters properly on the amp channels do u need to run like in line crossovers? As far as tuning goes I was going to have the hpf on the 8"s set to 100-150 hz and the lpf set to 5k. And for the tweeters just have a hpf set to like 6k. Am I missing anything?
