I am going to get a new system installed in my car soon and I don't know which monoblock to get for my subs. I am going with a pair of RE Audio SEX v2 12" subs. Originally I was going to buy a used Rockford Fosgate T1500.1bdcp from a guy on Facebook marketplace, but long story short, the guy tried scamming me. (Thankfully I paid via 'goods and services' rather than 'friends and family'!) It'll take a little while to get my money back but whatever. Anyway, the subs are rated 750w RMS each. I'd like to find an amp that can push them yet also *sounds good* and is efficient also. I've seen a lot of cheaper amps around but they have horrible stats as far as THD and S/N ratio. I do care about SQ and while my budget isn't infinite, I don't mind paying a little more for an amp that runs nice and cool, doesn't guzzle power, and sounds great.
