crabmustang Posted July 9, 2008 Report Share Posted July 9, 2008 4" long, are you sure about that tuning? I would go 2 4" pipes at the least. You need a bit more port area for a 15" sub. Just make them as long as you can (leave like 4-5" at the back for the ports to 'breathe' and I'm sure you'll be happy with it. You can always pull them out and cut them shorter, just think about it carefully when you put them in Ya I`m pretty sure using his dimensions he gave on first page based on 3/4" mdf its 4.22 cu ft minus port and sub displacement, so 1 4" pipe 4" long tunes to 35hz based on 3.9 cu. ft net So if you want 2 4" ports make them 11.25" long at it will tune to 35hz Get porting Hope this helps Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
