infkt
my headliner was drooping so i took it out to redo it, but its messed up so i want it out but now my roof does like the wave and rattles horribly. what are some ways i can stop this without dampning it because im going to get a new car/truck soon so i dont wanna spend money on it if i can help it. i was thinking some 2x4s bracing it then painting them black so you wont notice it as much but iono. what do you guys think
Bass4Lyfe
without dampening ... yeah a big 2x4 right in the middle of the roof and well secured might help ... best bet is to dampen or get that new car! infkt
Well i decided that i don't care what it looks like so i braced it really well with 2x4s and the rattle is ALL gone. none at all. but now that it doesn't rattle it doesn't seem as loud but it probably just as loud if not louder I'm just not used to it. 1 other question its not meant for this section but i don't want to start a new topic. when i tuned my box it was loud and i seen everyone else tune theres to 32 or so. i tried it and it got way quieter? is that because of the Fs or the vehicles peak?
