raytard Posted October 26, 2008 Report Share Posted October 26, 2008 i <3 jbl just so u realize, these are more of an sq speaker than a volume speaker, they are very very clean. they will get loud with some power, but they're more so meant as an sq setup. the px and bpx lines of amps have been discontinued, but looks for an amp that can easily do 150rms the 300.4 is a beast amp and should be fine for them, i'm not sure what your price range is or how many you're running, but the alpine pdx's are pretty sick, or you can go the route everyone else does and look at sundown 100.4. just remember that you do get what you pay for to some extent, so dont be afraid to drop a few extra dollars for the peace of mind that it's going to last and work the way it should.
