Okay, so some boneheads tried to break into my car Friday. They pried at the passenger front window, didn't get it open, but I think they crushed the window track, because the window will only go about halfway down, then spins like it is getting caught on something in the rear. How do i go about changing this?

Car is a 1996 Pontiac Grand Prix 4-door.

And yes, I will be getting an alarm shortly.

Too many projects, too little time...

best way is to pull off the doorpanel and the vapor barrier sot hat you can get a good look inside the door and see exactly what is wrong, it could just be as simple as the window is off track

X2, Sounds like they managed to get the window out of one of the "X" tracks that is hard to see, The spinning thing happened to me too, your easiest way to fix it will be to remove a black inner panel thats held in by 7mm & 10mm screws/bolts.
