I got a newer model iPod Nano in the mail today. After putting all my music on it, I tried hooking it up to my Sony CDX-GT620IP HU, and it would not operate the iPod through the cable in the back of the unit. I tried to change songs and I got a "COM ERROR" message on the screen of the HU. Any ideas as to what this could be and how to fix it? My older Nano works just fine with the same cable...

I could still run a 3.5mm male-to-male cable in the aux port though, right?

...Or is that 'aux' port even for that sort of use? Is there any other way I could play my iPod through my head unit?
