Slappin F150
16 square inches of port is required per cubic foot so 16cubes X 16inchesperfoot = 256 inches of port. That can be accomplished with a port with an I.D. of 16X16. And according to me 28hz would require it to be 41.7 inches long, but dont hold me to that, I havent done math in a while. So port is 16x16 and 41.7 inches long for 28hz. Hypnotik DesignZ
what if my port was 15" wide and 10" in height how deep would it have to go to get 28hrz and have the right square inches of port?? brsteinbach
It would have to be about 22.5" But then you only have 9 inches per cube. brsteinbach
You could go H - 10" and W - 20" and it would be 31.29" in length Which could give you 12.5 square inches per cube. I think that would be enough and still sound good. Anyone disagree? Slappin F150
If you make the port 11 inches high and 23 inches wide youll get 253 inches of port, which would be just shy of the reccomended 16inches per cubic foot. Shorten the length to about 39-40 inches. Thats if you want to go that big and :hairtrick: :hairtrick: a little bit. Honestly , no bashing anyone, Id go with the size I recomended because Itll move some serious air and wont constrict the woofers at all. What subs are you using by the way? brsteinbach
But you only have 33" of depth right? Or can you go bigger? Because that port would end up being 41" long.
