tomrspears Posted April 28, 2009 Report Posted April 28, 2009 i'm in the middle of building my box. i have 6 jlw6v2's that i'm putting in a three chamber ported box. each chamber will have two sub's and its own port. i called jl audio today to get help on my port. they told me that it has to be 30.5'' inches long. i dont want it to be that long. and also how good do they sound in the jl recomend box size and port size Quote 01 s10 blazer 6 jl12w6's

This...With the volume you gave above, a port that is 4" high by 14" wide by X" long would be good per chamber. The length will depend on what you want the box tumed to. And that seems like it would be a really low tuning imo.
