I used download helper to pick up a couple videos I am always talking about on Youtube. I would like to put them on my iPod so people don't look at me like i'm stupid when I talk about stuff. How can I transfer the vid (which saved in .flv format) into iTunes? What format do I need?

Too many projects, too little time...

MP4 would be the appropriate format... I use Allok Video to 3GP Converter as far as converting goes... It doesn't compress very well but the quality is somewhat decent

So it will be a big file then? Most of the vids are about a minute, how big do you think they will be?

That would actually depend on what bitrate you encode the audio and video at... This particular program doesn't compress videos well like I was telling you before. Most ipod screens are like what 2.5-3.5 inches? so you don't need a super large resolution to begin with.

352x240

normal video quality

12.2kbps audio quality

Duration is 21:42

23.4MB

So a little more than a megabyte a minute, by them being youtube video's the quality isn't too superb.

I guess the compression is pretty fair.
