FiBTLforlife Posted August 1, 2009 Author Report Posted August 1, 2009 If you don't mind me asking what amp was this anyway? 800 + watts at 4 ohms is pretty decent. Just think, if you can wire it down lower than you have it now I'd bet that you'll see at least a 2 db gain. i got the subs wired to 1ohm right now. i didnt know if i can go lower than that or what. my voltage drop is pretty crappy being it starts at 13.8 and gets to like 11.8 or 11.2 on some notes. so im losing allot of power with those kinds of drops. anyone think i should wire them at a lower ohm than i have right now? or is that a no no? thanks and sorry for my confusing in the earlier post, ill try not to make that a habit Quote 2 AQ 10'' HDC3 copper subs 1 3500d AQ amp 146.3db on TL with stock electrical in single cab truck at 32hz RESULT: 1st place at comp, 3rd overall out of 20 cars
