edog Posted August 9, 2009 Report Posted August 9, 2009 I see guys on the forum using 8-gauge and some using 4-gauge.My mmats 3500.5 can only handle 8-gauge out, I have 4 voice coils coming in so that would be one set of 8 feeding 4 sets of 8 gauge.would it be more logical to use 8-gauge out of the amp going to 10 or 12 gauge to the voicecoils.
