1992Chevy K1500 Posted September 10, 2009 Author Report Posted September 10, 2009 Thanks. Can't believe I didn't see it. Thanks again. My comp setup (Not bad for what it is): HP Compaq Presario V6120US laptop with: 15.4" widescreen AMD Turion 64 X2 1.6GHz processor 2x1GB stick DDR2 SDRAM (667 Mhz) Seagate Momentus 500GB SATA HDD 128MB shared video memory Windows 7 Home Premium 64 bit 12 cell Lithium Ion battery (actual battery usage time: 6 hours) What it does: On a USB 2.0 Wireless card
1992Chevy K1500 Posted September 10, 2009 Author Report Posted September 10, 2009 (edited) Ok so I have 3 options. Option 1: Should I replace my hard drive and save to build a carputer as a seperate system? Option 2: Should I put together a carputer and copy all of my disks important files directly to my carputer (would need this (click here) software, but I've not heard anything negative about it from what I've found). If I go this route, I could just spend money on a larger HDD and be done with it. Option 3: Take my MOBO and other essential components out of my laptop and replace the processor (possibly memory) and hard drive and use it as my carputer? I would need the software mentioned in Option 2. No matter what way I chose, I can only afford AMD (I hate minimum wage). But I'm confident it should be good enough for me (I only play music and maybe the occasional video, but vids are rare). EDIT: Anyone? 1992Chevy K1500 Posted September 13, 2009 Author Report Posted September 13, 2009 Please help! I got my comp to turn on but I can't copy my Itunes or other important files! I get the following error message: 0x8007045D I researched the error code but no matter what I try I can't copy my files. I've tried everything. I really need to backup my drive (doing it manually). I have everything except Itunes and the system files backed up (pics, docs, etc). Does anyone know how to fix this error? I am running Vista Home Premium.
