I would definitely use the kicker. Better built product and you already have it, why not use it.. The more reserve power the better, that amp wont even get warm or break half a sweat running that setup.

i've ran both kicker and hifonics and i would never buy another hifonics amp again, big paper weight in my opinion (i have one up stair in that mode right now)

I say kicker also, I've ran both and kicker out performs hifonics easily but I have to disagree with this, I'm borrowing a buddies hifonics right now, the one in my sig, I'm running it .7 ohms and my buddy ran it at .5 ohms. Both daily, and it barely gets warm to the touch. They may be overrated but they're definately built pretty damn good I would say. We've abused the hell out of it and it has taken everything we've thrown at it.
