The Eclipse comes home finally Sunday and I have adjusted the plan in it to 3 18s all up to help eliminate cancellation and make it a demo machine since the wagon is going to be built for efficiency. I am toying with the idea of trying 6 18s in the wagon eventually if it is beneficial enough. The airspace in the Eclipse should land around a 11 cubic foot common chamber with only 84 square inches of port tuned to 30hz and hitting the dash around 35 like the old old vids before it was deadened. The drivers door sounds awful when I turn it up (I think the factory steel brace in the door is smacking into the door skin) If the steel rips at the top of your hatch like it did on mine we will get some thicker steel welded in there where it bolts in at the top the commercial grade spray foam works way better....wish I had some, the stuff is way more strong after it cures. It seems more stout then the eclipse, but I am taking into consideration there is only around 1000-1200 watts on each woofer. Check it. Nice When you called me about the "cowbell noise" you heard in the roof from something breaking loose inside it I was rolling. 2 days was not enough time to do what I wanted. When you come back out hopefully we can spend more then a week on it, there is a ton I would like to do.
