need a quick box sketchup for 2 10's ported/sealed too

we'll my friend took her car to bestbuy to have em hook up her system n she said it sounds like shit now, i put it in her saturn vue but due to transmition failer she got a 2002 toyota celica gts and im guessin she's still runnin the same stuff i got her

so its 2 soundstream 10's, i unno they look like an older model thats dual 4ohm 500rms with i think a blue dustcap but black cone n chrome basket

amp will be a bazooka 500d, pushes em pritty damn good i think

i had em in a sealed devided box that was like 2cf total inverted cause hole wasnt big enough for basket to fit threw so i just did that for a quick job cause she had to go to work and it sounds awesome

so im gunna just redo her a killer box n shit to make her happy, she listens to alot of rap, rock, n rnb so im thinkin somethin in the works of 35-36htz should do it nicely

i need a simple ported box that will wang like all hell n not take up to much room n have good sq n i need measurements to go buy n i'll post build pics on here possably

i suck ass at carpeting a box so i might just carpet 5 sides of it n paint the face of it wit flex stone

i kno this is overkill for a girl but shes my wifes friend n i aint built shit for a good min so i wanna get my hands dirty again n hook up soem new shit

if i get a drawing and measurements i can duplicate it pritty much exactly how it is, hell might even put a toyota inbossed logo in it or somethin cool like that for the shit of it

Why not do another sealed box and fire it up to load off the hatch.

I did one in my gf camaro with 2 L5 12's and it seems way too loud for some sealed 12s.

Those subs are even recommended sealed too

but i edited the post above urs on the exact subs n gave a site to em

damn those 10's are tough as shit n wang like all hell

i got em for her for $60 a set i think n on that site there $200 each subs so damn lol

i can do sealed fine but i want to try a ported box n see how they sound in it

its recomended enclosure is sealed so should i do that or wut?

says they each need .5net cube sealed but i unno how to count cf so yall might halfto help me out

i can build damn nere anything but dunno all these equasions n shit, but will those subs sound good ported or do they need sealed?

If they recommend sealed, I'd go sealed. If I get off work early enough tomorrow, I can put something together. But I doubt I'll get off early enough.

dont know how to count cubic feet?

usually itll be in inches for dimensions. for a 1 cube box youll have 12"x12"x12". youll multiply all those sides together and get 1728"^3

to convert that you divide my 1728 and you get on cube. so if you had a 11"x11"x7" youll get 847cubic inches, divide that by 1728 and you get .49 cubic feet.

im pritty fast on building things once i have soemthin to go buy, im gunna use 3/4 birch ply to build it out of

i wish they was a good titorial on how to carpet a box so i can make it look professional, i was gunna recess the subs n paint the front n carpet the rest of box but i unno how that will turn out, i suck at the ends of a box

i might staple it n just paint the staples so it hides em pritty good n just do it that way but i dont want it to look like shit

the girl is acually pritty good lookin so i dnt want to let her down

anyways i guess i'll start buildin as soon as i get a design n shit, i want it to look pro as hell, im thinkin about doin some stincleing n shit on back of box n cut out the black carpet n paint it the color of the car or somethin with maby gts in red or w/e color it is, i wanna make it have a custom touch n shit, ied fiberglass somethin but im not that good with it yet

so if i wanted to do a custom touch to it would i carpet the whole box n then nail on the recess baffle n then putty n sand n paint it?

i want to put some cool shit to it to give it a custom touch now that i kno how to carpet a box the right way
