CodyB Posted December 10, 2009 Report Share Posted December 10, 2009 I think he said he has a stock HU, and ran the high level inputs into the amp, His old amp didn't automatically turn on with the high level inputs, but his new one does now. If I understood Tacoma as well, the newer amps automatically sense when there is a signal on the high level inputs and turns itself on or off, the older ones did not have this "feature." What to do to get it back to where you told it to turn on or off, Im not 100% sure on, but I think you'll have to get a high level to RCA converter and run RCA's to the amp so It wont switch itself on or off.
