tacomabanga1986 Posted December 12, 2009 Report Share Posted December 12, 2009 i want to watch my comp on my tv n i found out that i need a video card with dvi output and i have a dvi to hdmi cable n was wondering if this is a good video card to get or can i get one cheaper? http://www.staples.com/PNY-GeForce-8400-GS...5?cmArea=SEARCH and will this affect the factory video card in anyway? or help video quality? n the way my video card is now is wierd, i got a compaq desktop comp n the way they did the wireing inside there is no more ribbon cable's, its all str8 wired in to the board n everything else n will i still be able to use the regular video card too or would it work better with the new video card? i got a 17.5'' hp flatscrean monitor for my comp n i got a 32'' emerson i want to watch it on so if i want to show someone something i can just switch the input to hdmi1 n there it goes so is this a good video card or can i get a better one with same featuers for less? im not a gamer, all i do is look at videos n what knot on youtube n listen to music thats all, maby a lil bit of roller coaster tycoon 2 sometimes but thats all, i dont like comp games cause im useto a controler like on xbox n ps2 i dont need some high quality what knot type shit, just somethin cheap that will let me watch my comp on my tv i tryed a dvi to vga adapter n hooked it into the output that goes to the comp n i got nothing and my monitor has a dvi input i think beside the other cable n was wondering if i can switch it to work somehow i dont mind spendin $80 for it but if i can get it alot cheaper then thats cool too Quote here's a link to my system 99 toyota tacoma , 2 mtx 8000 1504's in a sealed downfire , 1000w memphis amp here's a link to my other system my 90 geo prizm test car heres a thread i got of new songs u can dl that are legal = Some Good Bangage/you Can Dl These Free And Legit Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
