Hostility
im thinking now maybe doing 6 level 3 10's without upgrades. would be louder then the 4 10's with upgrades. coming from 2 15" nightshades, would the 4 10" level 3's upgraded be able to do the same?? they are close in cone area, the 15's i felt were being chocked a little in the box, so these 10's will be in a more efficient box! the box im thinking of doing is, subs forward, port up on drivers side 4.28 cubes 32.15 hz 65.63 port area my old 15" ns box was: 6.09 cubes 32.55 hz 80 port area Quote 99 s10 4.3L Big 3 220amp alt Odyssey 1500 Odyssey 2150 Northstar NSB 75 Sundown Audio 3500D Sundown Audio 125.2 3 Sundown Audio SA-12's Alpine H/U RF Power Comp set 6.5" RF 3 sixty line driver 5.25 cubes @ 31hz

windowtinter
id go 4 ported with lvl4 coil maybe one stiff spider instead of the med. stock and stitched leads i like the 32 hz tuning andif you go 6 sealed it might not extend as low but they would really be punchy and sound like tens.the flat wound lvl4 coils sound better and i think they are more effecient also (i could be wrong) run that sundown below 1 ohm if you can get the coils right and let them things get down low.
