I'm trying to earn some extra money so I posted a service ad to install audio equipment. I've been installing shit since I was 13 but I have a quick question.

If I install their stuff, is there any kind of liability issues I could be facing for anything? For instance, some guy wants me to install some front speakers in his Wrangler to his factory headunit. That's an easy $25 but I just want to make sure I'm safe to be doing this stuff as a freelance.

stop making sense you'll kill the argument.

Earth, you feel me?

You aren't loud enough to be felt.

There's a huge liability installing audio. You need to have him sign a contract that states that you're not liable for any property or equipment damages. You should also take pictures and document what you do, so if somebody does try to say that you messed up their equipment, you have proof that the install was legitimate.

Alright I will have to do that. I'll print out a paper from my comp and take pictures of the head-unit, dash, etc. What exactly should the contract say?
