Dan208
Ok, I'll start out by saying that I'm an idiot when it comes to computers. I went to check my email earlier and the computer froze up. I restarted it and got a black screen with "www.dell.com" across the top. Below that a message popped up that said "Loading PBR for descriptor 2.....done". I can't get out of this. A few times it did act like it was going to start up, but nothing ever happened. Is there any way to fix this without losing anything? I have a lot of stuff backed up, but there are some recent things that I hadn't done yet. Since I really don't know what I'm doing, should I take it to someone and have them take a look at it? Like I said, I really don't want to lose anything (mostly pictures). I'm doing some research right now, but it's all Greek to me. Edit: I have XP.
