grumpy409 Posted June 15, 2007 Report Share Posted June 15, 2007 quick question. i have a 99 chevy silverado ext cab, took the rear bench seat out and had a box made back their instead. now i wanted to change the fabric on the front bench seat and iw as curious to how many yards of fabric i would need... anybody know? hoping to do the middle part red suede, with black leather on the outside. grumpy409 Posted June 29, 2007 Author Report Share Posted June 29, 2007 bump.. i was told by a guy that i met at discount tire who was a mini trucker that it would be 6 yds for the leather, and 3 for the suede inserts. and there is no way that is possible. so anybody have any clues or guesses? 99 silverado bench seat, just the front one. Leather is bought by the hide not by yardage. Unless your talking about vinyl then you would need 4-5 yards depending on how you lay out the patterns. And you would only need 2 yards of suede.
