OGMatt Posted April 25, 2010 Report Posted April 25, 2010 Hello eveyone, Im matt, Im 16 and I have this: 1989 crx si I have always been into the car audio thing, but ever since I saw this fourm, I got more involved and jumped on the band wagon. A couple years ago I had the dream of having the loudest car at highschool.... So I went to my local car audio store and bought the semi best of what they had (I had a budget). I came home with a Massive Audio RW12 sub and a Massive Audio RS25 amp. I didnt know very much at the time but realized they sold me a 25wrms amp for my 400wrms sub. so i sold the RS25 for almost retail and picked up a used Alpine MRV-T501 amp (300rms). It made a world of difference and is my current set up to this day. But wait!... I was hooked, and needed better speakers to replace the old ripped clarions. So I got 4 MTX coax. 6.5s. and powered them with some 12 gauge ....that got boring so I resently picked up a Pioneer GM-212 2 channel amp to power the rears. I Am curently working on an amp rack and a control pannal for my dash. Ill hopefully have lots of pics so stay tunned Shaved Sig
devil4u2c Posted April 25, 2010 Report Posted April 25, 2010 Lookin good bro, just one thing though if you are going to amp your mtx's put it on the fronts in stead of the rears. It would sound better IMHO Really cool car though

It took me all day to take apart my dash and find the rubber washer to feed the speaker wire through the door. coudnt find it worth shit and gf kept bitching at me lol Shaved Sig

Fits really nice in there My Alpine(sub), and Pioneer(rear spk.) Okay so I cant deside what fabric I should use for the rack.
