I installed this radio in Feb. It never really picked up the local stations properly.

Since the trees are blooming out with leaves and creating more of a barrier between me and the radio signal the reception is getting worse.

Ive tried everything I can think of and a car sitting right next to me with a stock H/u picks up the radio station just fine but my freaking radio is nothing but static.

Anybody have any ideas what could be wrong?

I did have to use a antenna adapter to hook the antenna up.

The only one I could find was the ones at walmart. And it confused the hell out of me since it had no directions with it and two pieces.

The last time I contacted pioneer regarding some tech support they told me I hooked up the blue remote wire wrong...so I thought I would try here first.

make sure the antenna's in good, i had the same problem when i put my jvc in my grandam( before i put it in my jeep) the connect kept getting loose due to the wire being stupid, the remote should have nothing to do with anything off the radio unless your running a 4 channel or sub amp even, but if anything it might be a defect from the factory, should have a warrenty on it if im not mistaken if you only installed in it feb

Legal TL scores145.6 on the dash sealed up in the low 40hz area with the port out145.5 on the dash sealed up @30hz with the port inless then 1k clamped on a 3.5k!

Why would you EVER WANT flex?
huh?...flex is what can make the lows lower and more air being pushed correct?
