heres my box design for 2 kicker solo-baric l2's rated at 600 watts rms.

specs are

35 hz

31.5 x 19.5 x 23.5

7 cubes internal volume

86" port area

port size is 3.5 x 12 and theres 2 of them.

port length is 15 inches

port displament is .7 cubes

so net volums would be like 6 cubes including sub dispacement.

JUST wanting to make sure this is right and if someone would run through the math for me. especially on the port i would be very greatful! because i really dont trust my port calculator..

watd u use to calculate it... and ive thaugh about it but thatde make the port so long ide have to do a bend in it. so just as much work.. and the internal densions are 30 x 18 x 22

if you wanted 35hz i got you need 50 inches so 25 a piece insted of 15.

o ok. so i would make one port and make it 24 wide and 5 tall. it only needs to be 15 inches long... it'll be tune to 37hz tho.

i cant make it any taller than 3.5 and the bigger the port the deeper it has to be 2 right? not shorter?

ok i used the12volt.com slot port calculator.

ok, so for 35hz i got 30 wide so all the way across. and the it needs to be 30 inches long. thats for 3.5tall

http://www.the12volt.com/caraudio/boxcalcs.asp#cyl <<<< go there. if it were me id put the subs port together. so the port is 5 wide 18tall and 30 long... so youd have to bend it. keep it 5 from the back wall though.
