Jacksons10
I have a 2003 s-10 ext cab and am going to build a box to house 2 xl 12's. DC'S site says to give them 1.75-2.75 cft each so 3.5-5.5 cft for both. I will be powering them with 1 RF T25001bd for now with plans to add another at a later time. My question is should I build on the lower or higher end of the range for cft for the box ? Next is with it being an ext cab truck I was thinking sub up port up simply because if the ports back it hits the back wall and restricts air. With the port forward it hits the back of the seats and also restricts air. And lastly I'm going to tune the box to around 34hz, am I right in thinking the port is measured directly down the middle ? Any help or input will be helpful and appreciated, thank you guys

oldschool
Man you will get mixed opinions on size but if you are definitely planning on going with a 2nd 2500 I would do around 2 cubes a piece and either shoot the port out the top or the drivers side of the box.
