Reading your signature, are you running a jbl AND a pioneer sub? Read up the site a bit. In the meantime save up some more cash. Mow some lawns or something. Once you have a better understanding as to what is going on, you'll be able to probably make a better purchase. As stated before, there is PLENTY to learn here. Just take some time and learn. Just take some time and learn. x2 all of this STRONGLY. on the topic of the mixed subs, you never want to mix woofers of different brands, models, sizes, or even the same brand and model but a different generation woofer. when one woofer moves more than the other, they fight and try to equalize, causing the sound to be what they call "muddy" and doesnt sound right at all.
