cannot set gains with dmm HELP

yes all filters are were 0 and all bass was 0 meter in ac volts

you have a good set of rca's? plug in rca's into the amp and the other end into an mp3 player/laptop and try to see if its the same result. if your headunit has a "sub level control" turn that up all the way...make sure its not a booster though.

head unit is a alpine cda 9887 it ahs sub level but i had it at 00 because i thoght you had to zero the filters/bass. ill try turning that up to get my voltage up.

some headunits (like my kenwood for example) need to have the sub level all the way up to get whatever voltage is printed in the manual.
