chevytuck95
Ok so im finally going to start my build on my truck. My question is 3/4 5 layer birch doubled better for a baffle than 3/4 MDF doubled. I got a sheet of each for free and have to use both for this build. here is pick of them side by side. This is my first build to include birch so kinda excited to see how turns out. Quote 1995 Honda Accord Coupe still building only thing done is big three and one run of stinger 0 gauge. chevytuck95
also every time i try to tune a box to say 28-30 hz my port is always too small for recommended. Is this normal wouldn't that cause some sort of port noise. Quote 1995 Honda Accord Coupe still building only thing done is big three and one run of stinger 0 gauge. xXRaMpOwNaGeXx
but might be fine with supports just in case 1 flexes and the other doesn't not totaly sure not a wood expert lol but then again i never mixed woods when building a box so not quite sure Quote 96 GMC Jimmy Kenwood KDC-348U 2 SoundStream T4-15's BOSS Audio Onyx NXD4,500.1 (Subs) Autotek SS 200.2 (Highs) 8 cube box tuned @ 31Hz 2 Memphis 6.5 2 ways in the front 2 Kicker 6.5 2 ways in the rear My YouTube Link My Budget Build Log My New Build Log Team DBs (Driven By sound)
xXRaMpOwNaGeXx
even if the entire interior is glassed? idk might be fine if it was glassed because that would make them about the same type of surface all i can say is trial and error is the only way to find out for sure Quote 96 GMC Jimmy Kenwood KDC-348U 2 SoundStream T4-15's BOSS Audio Onyx NXD4,500.1 (Subs) Autotek SS 200.2 (Highs) 8 cube box tuned @ 31Hz 2 Memphis 6.5 2 ways in the front 2 Kicker 6.5 2 ways in the rear My YouTube Link My Budget Build Log My New Build Log Team DBs (Driven By sound)

There will be lots of bracing and even more glass. it's a must for the three 18's im putting in.
