basically the HERC is the BXI 2005D in a different heat sink I have about 5 3" fans laying around I was going to use those on it

thats totally wrong.  that BXI wont even put out 2k watts at 1ohm. i've tested 2 kercs doing 2400 at 1ohm...just a different heat sink i think not

what about an old Memphis MOJO AMP

such as this one

and do teh dual 1 ohm down to 2 ohm

i myself have never tested a memphis amp besides the 4kw one but i have heard good things about the one you posted.  Why not get the hercules and run at .5 ohm, it does it all day

honestly how realible is it at .5 ohms.. this will become my DD and I don't feel like having to replace ablown $500 amp

id be comfortable using it daily like that, theres alot of other people doing it.

I just fried a Colossus on 1.4ohm per channel. 

Just be sure to have the power to back up the amp
