Theres really no better place to mount the amp

If thats the case then you have no choice. You might want to do what the other guy said and put some spacers between the amp and the box. Maybe some rubber spacers to absorb some of the vibrations.

Turn your subs up on a song that really hits hard. Press your head to the box. Thats what your amp goes thru every time you turn it on. Amps arent made to take vibration like that.

My I turn my system up it doesn't matter where I put my head it vibrates lol. :pardon:
