well i got some speakers from my uncles when they moved and i went to hook them up the other day and they was really crackly sounding so last night i took them apart and the surround is gone

i kinda made one out of electrical tape for temp just to keep from having coil rub

these are oldschool pioneers, whats the wierd part is that they have a square cone on the woofer and midrange drivers

i never would have thought these being this old would have this technology but i guess they do

i kinda sorta fixed em with electrical tape for temp and it works but imo feels tacky as hell but works

there a 3way setup with a 4'' square woofer, a 2'' i think square midrange and like a 1/2''x3'' tweeter in a ported cabnet

ied like to try and restore these to atleast working order but i dont think this can be done

only place i can think of that might be able to do this is kicker but i dont think they would do it, prolly cost more than the speakers are worth but i like oldschool audio and i was gunna pare it with the pioneer tape player and jensen 8ow eqamp

these aint a square basket with round cone, there acual square baskets with square cones, i cant even find a pic on google so i might have to take one myself
