nascarguy301
Ok, so I have four 15 inch Klipsch K-43 woofers. They were originally loaded in an MWM industrial dual chamber box. Heres the TSP K-43 spec TSPs Fs 36 Hz Re 3.4 Ohms Qts 0.314 Qms 5.314 Qes 0.333 Vas 198.474 L Sd 0.089 m^2 Xmax 0.29 in BL 15.94 I want to get rid of the HUGE ASS Box they are in and keep the woofers and build a custom sealed box for each one. These are being used in a large skating rink environment. (Around 12,000 SQ. FT.) I have no clue where to start. EDIT*** This box has been patented: http://community.klipsch.com/forums/storage/4/991546/MWM_patent.pdf PLZ HELP Edited October 31, 2011 by nascarguy301 Quote Bose = Buy other sound equipment. i love the rattle it's the best part! i need louder cheap amp any ideas? 412 CVX
Sealed boxes are usually pretty easy to design and build. basically it's just a matter of finding the correct volume. you do lose a considerable amount of output going from vented to sealed, which may be an issue with such a large area. i'm not sure what the original box was like though, so i don't have much to compare it to. i took a quick look at the patent, and the design appeared incredibly confusing. do you have pictures of the boxes they're in now? Quote Just say no to Ground Pounder Customs. My temp system build log More box buildssome cars do over 170db with one sub, so clearly my two 12"s can do that in my car, with my knowledge too! look out bitches! I'm with captain stupid.
