The purpose of this thread is to take information scattered in 3 or 4 threads and bring them all into one place to simply things.

The "build" started in Feb. 2009 when i came up with this sketchup idea.

Posted Image

It was all just an idea on a piece if paper- i did have the woofers nor the amp power to make it what i wanted.

The next step was to trash the old single 18" build

Posted Image

it was fun, but i do believe the setup was "tapped out" at 146.6

Next step- I stripped down the interior

No Pic

I then used Second Skin Spectrum Sludge on the floor forward of the Wall face.

A+ Product i would highly recommend for use on floors/wheel wells/ other "high risk" environments.

would not recommend for roofs or other steep surfaces because of the drippage, it can be done its just much more difficult.

Lastly, it has a pretty long dry time but its worth it because you know it will hold hands down better than traditional mat

Back on topic :D

The actually build up i didn't take pix of. its nothing special, just glass and panels of high ply birch with 1.5x1.5 bracing on all panels.

This was exciting

Looks good huh?

But-

it EPIC failed! to much port!

with that much port, the depth required would have hit the side walls (angled in) and still been tuned very, very high. Also, "DC" cutouts that large would have been very expensive and used more wood.

here is V.2 Smaller port haha

Last updates will be a few pix maybe a vid on the charging system and a pic of the very simple very practical trunk setup.

Thanks for the compliments!! i've been wanting to get it all in one thread for a long time and just never got around to it.
