Sac,you just need to run a frequency sweep while having the meter in the car.run spl peak hold, and run the sweep. the loudest freq in the graph towards the bottom will be the peak frequency

I dont have any experience with that sub, but from doing a search I found that they like anywhere from 6 to 11 cubes.
port should be at least 150^2 or more.
tune it to 35 hz and it will pound the daylights out of you and get stupid loud .
make sure you build the baffle with at least 3 layers of 3/4 mdf as the sub weighs over a hundread pounds. brace the hell out of it.
good luck and post some pics of it as you build it I wanna see this.
-
yes its worth it, I gained .6 volts @ idle by just doing the big 3
-
we havent decided on where yet.we will in the next few days.

basicly like I said in my other post, Soon as you smell the coils getting hot you shut the system down long enough to cool off.
Spiders, spiders are part of the suspension, the more spiders you have the stiffer the suspension of the driver.

we're are just begining to get this going, I knew you were looking to get metered thats why I sent ya the link on termpro in pm.We need to hear from a few more people still, steve has some friends that have contacted him about it as well, soon as we hear from a few more people, we will start finding out when, where and how this will take place.David
-
yep, they do get hot when you Hammer on them for a decent amount of time with good power.
basicly from what I have been told soon as you smell them, you turn it down or off for a little bit to let them cool down.
They are expensive, I will be purchasing some of these baddboys as soon as the season is over, for my rebuild for next season.

saw this on the RF forums, I lmao so I had to post it here.
water does tend to bloat some people....
A koala is sitting up a gum tree ... smoking a joint
when a little lizard walks past and looks up and says,
"Hey Koala ! What are you doing?"
The koala says:
"Smoking a joint, come up and have some."
So the little lizard climbs up and sits next to the koala
and they burn a few. After a while the little lizard says his mouth is
'dry' and is going to get a drink from the river. But the little lizard is
so stoned that he leans too far over and falls into the river.
A crocodile sees this and swims over to the little lizard
and helps him to the side, then asks the little lizard:
"What's the matter with you?"
The little lizard explains to the crocodile that he was
sitting smoking a joint with the koala in the tree, got too stoned and then
fell into the river while taking a drink.
The crocodile says he has to check this out and walks into
the rain forest, finds the tree where the koala is sitting
finishing a joint, and he looks up and says "Hey you!"
So the koala looks down at him and says:
"Shiiiiiiiiiiit dude ... how much water did you drink?!!"

yes While the Engine is running The Alt casing is the best ground in the vehicle.
[glow=red,2,300]POWER WIRES[/glow]
both power wires running to the back come off a fuse block.
the fuse block is powered by one of the wires coming from the battery, the other wire comming off the battery is going to the alternator.
GROUND WIRES
One ground wire is coming off the alternator bracket and heads to the battery.
One ground wire comes off the battery and is grounded to the chassis of the vehicle
2 ground wires comes off the alt bracket and heads to the rear of the vehicle.
look at this pic it gives you a better look at how the wires run.
http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/gallery/a...vi/DSC04678.jpg
In the rear of the vehicle Steve used distrobution blocks on the power and grounds on the ground distro block he added another ground wire to the chassis
In your situation, with having a batteries in the rear and up front you would wire it up like Steve described in the above post.
Hope that helps you understand it abit better.
